A Schroeder reverb (4 comb filters + 2 allpass diffusers) with pitch-shifted shimmer feedback, feedback saturation, and modulated delay times. Studio-grade ambience that can climb forever or freeze in place.
Cursed Reverb
Terrarium + Daisy Seed · Mono
A shimmer reverb that descends into chaos. Schroeder reverb (4 comb filters + 2 allpass diffusers) with pitch-shifted feedback, saturation, and modulated delay times. Pedal-style controls for a studio-grade ambient effect.

Range
KNOB 1
Volume
0× to ~2×
KNOB 2
Decay
Reverb tail length. Feedback range 0.7–0.99 — tail is always audible, won't fully die.
KNOB 3
Tone
OnePole damping in the feedback path. Higher = darker tail.
KNOB 4
Shimmer
Pitch-shifted feedback amount. The tail is fed through a grain pitch shifter before re-entering the reverb — at high settings the reverb climbs in pitch indefinitely.
KNOB 5
Warp
Delay time modulation depth. Slow chorusing of the reverb network.
KNOB 6
Mix
Dry/wet blend.
Switches

Function
SW1
Shimmer interval (octave / fifth)
SW2
Saturate feedback (Padé tanh on the feedback bus)

Mod rate (slow / fast)
SW4

FS2
Momentary freeze — input is muted, current reverb tail loops infinitely
Usage tip: For classic shimmer, push Shimmer (KNOB 4) past noon with SW1 on octave and SW4 set to pitch-up, then run Decay (KNOB 2) high for a tail that climbs endlessly. Flip SW2 to saturate the feedback so long tails stay present in the mix, or set SW4 to pitch-down for a doomy descending shimmer. Hold FS2 to freeze the current tail into an infinite pad and play over it.
True-stereo shimmer reverb with per-channel comb/allpass length offsets and LFO phase offsets, plus the WOOF extras: MIDI knob takeover, learnable expression, and dual-footswitch gestures. The shimmer feedback path is mono-summed before re-injection so the stereo image stays coherent.

No default mapping — assign via FS1+FS2 hold-0.5 s Set Mode. Suggested target: KNOB 6 (Mix) for foot-controlled wet level.
Stereo
Per-channel comb filter lengths (1116/1341/1557/1733 vs 1139/1367/1583/1759) and allpass lengths (556/441 vs 571/454) with LFO phase offsets of 0.125 between channels. Shimmer feedback is mono-summed and re-injected to preserve coherence.

Cursed Reverb
Hothouse + Daisy Seed · Mono · 3-position toggles
Schroeder reverb (4 combs + 2 allpass diffusers) with grain-based shimmer, OnePole damping, and modulated delay lines — on Hothouse hardware. Three 3-position toggles compress the Terrarium's four switches. Footswitches reversed from Terrarium per Hothouse convention.

Behavior
KNOB 1
Volume
Output level, scaled 2× to match bypass.
KNOB 2
Decay
Reverb time. Feedback range 0.75 → 0.995 (long tails, near-infinite at max).
KNOB 3
Tone
OnePole damping filter in the comb feedback path. Lower = darker, more felt; higher = bright.
KNOB 4
Shimmer
Pitch-shifted feedback amount. Adds the selected interval back into the reverb loop for stacking octaves/fifths.

FS2 (right)
Momentary Freeze — infinite hold, input muted while held.
Usage tip: For classic shimmer, push Shimmer (KNOB 4) past noon with TOGGLE 1 up (octave) and a high Decay for an endlessly climbing tail; TOGGLE 1 middle (octave down) gives a doomy sub-shimmer. Engage TOGGLE 2 to saturate the feedback so long tails cut through, and add Warp (KNOB 5) with TOGGLE 3 for chorused movement. Hold FS2 (right) to freeze the tail into an infinite pad and play over it.
