Jackal Control Map

A dual slope generator for guitar, after the Serge / Buchla ramp-generator idea. Your guitar runs through slope A, a slew limiter that can filter, fuzz or oscillate. Slope B is an envelope or LFO that sweeps it. Click anything on the drawing.

DIP

Top view, same layout as Coyote and Dingo: toggle 3 is the page, page R holds the utility controls. DIP 1 is the top switch on the right side.

    Signal path

A slope generator limits how fast a signal can rise and fall. Fed audio, it smears and fuzzes. Left cycling, it oscillates. Fed a pick attack, it makes an envelope. Jackal puts two of them on your guitar and combines them like the original's logic section.

    Knob pages

Toggle 3 picks the page. Knob pickup works as on Coyote and Dingo: after a page change a knob does nothing until you sweep it past that page's stored value.

    DIP switches

Four independent switches on the right side.
